Steven Universe gets an official podcast from Cartoon Network

Adults can’t get enough of podcasts in 2017, even if the most popular examples tend to be a bit… murdery to be child-friendly. But maybe there’s potential for podcasts aimed at kids too.

Cartoon Network hopes so: it’s launching a brand new one for its Steven Universe TV show, with plans to release a new episode every Thursday to keep fans happy.

Expect interviews with the show’s cast, crew and its creator Rebecca Sugar: this is very much a ‘behind the scenes’ thing rather than a fictional extension to the Steven Universe world.

You can get the podcast from iTunes as well as other podcast services. If your kids are big fans of the show, we reckon it’s well worth a listen. Two episodes are out so far.
