I broke my phone (and tomorrow’s expiration)

Recently my Iphone went kapoot.

It’s a bit of a sad moment to be honest.

That phone represented my:

  • 17.5k cash month
  • A new chapter
  • A gift to myself for all the hard work I did in my previous coaching business

So when I pulled up my phone’s camera and it returned a black screen…I knew it was time.

But I resisted.

I didn’t want to spend $1,000 for a new phone.

I’m a grandma on the inside.

I don’t need the fancy features (I like my home button).

I just need a camera, text, and call capabilities — that’s it.

So for a while, I went along my day with a broken screen and a broken camera.

But I didn’t realize how much I needed the camera capability until:

I couldn’t scan a QR code for a restaurant menu,

I couldn’t take pictures to rent out a space on FB Marketplace,

I couldn’t snap a picture to celebrate my childhood best friend’s birthday.

And that’s when I realized it was a necessity.
