Have we gone so far into isolation that there’s no way back?

I don’t think so. But we have to be intentional about it. We need to think about it seriously if we want to make our future generations emotionally intelligent.

We want them to be humans, not money-making machines. Ain’s we?

The truth is, we didn’t wake up one day and decide to disconnect from each other. It happened gradually.

Technology made things easier—texts replaced visits, social media replaced conversations, and convenience replaced community.

But just because something is easy doesn’t mean it’s better.

I still believe we can rebuild what we lost. See, we can’t close our eyes to the technology. We can’t stop it from coming into our lives, but we can make efforts to disconnect.

Disconnect to reconnect.

Start with small steps.

Now, where should we start?

Next time you see your neighbour, instead of just nodding, say something.
