Medium’s new policy on account suspensions is a wake-up call
As I was scrolling through our publication this morning, Contentalogist, to publish the stories submitted by our writers, I noticed something shocking.
Yesterday there were 95 followers, and now 72?
My first thought was that something had happened last night on Medium.
Oh, come on... not again... another glitch.
Then I came across the detailed blog on this issue by one of my wonderful friends, 1Spot.
It was further explained by Bin Jiang, another seasoned professional in my community in the comments section.
However, details are still coming in, and we’ll keep updating on this issue.
Like in previous months, I was expecting a widespread round of account revocation, as I posted a few days ago Has Medium Stopped Revoking Accounts? but this time Medium surprised us with something different.
It’s clear they’re cracking down on rule-breakers, and they’re not pulling any punches.
