The Last Goodbyes Are Always Painful

Let’s be realistic, my friends; there’s something about last goodbyes that always hits differently.

They’re never easy. They’re never expected.

And no matter how much you mentally prepare yourself, they always leave an impact on our lives.

I still remember the last day of high school. We were all, our friends, sitting in the garden in front of our classroom block, laughing like it was just another ordinary day.

The campus that once felt like home to us was suddenly turned into a place we were about to leave forever. We promised to stay in touch and to meet often, but life had other plans for us.

Some moved to different countries to pursue education, some moved back to their cities, some got caught up in jobs, and some just drifted away.

The group chats went silent, the meetups got postponed, and slowly but gradually, we all realized—we had already said
