Masaru Emoto, a Japanese author and researcher, published a book, The Hidden Messages in Water” in 2004.

It is based on Emoto’s research on the effects of thoughts, words, and intentions on water crystals. How cool. I can easily relate it to reciting a tasbeeh and blowing on a glass of water before giving it to a sick person.

The main idea behind Emoto’s research is that water has the ability to store and convey information. He proves that water molecules are influenced by several activities like,

He further claims that just like a computer chip, water crystals can store information as well.

Emoto believes that positive thoughts and intentions can help improve the structure and symmetry of water crystals. On the other hand, negative thoughts can produce disordered, asymmetrical crystals.
