How to start Writing from Scratch?

Are you struggling to start your writing journey?

Well, I’ve got a secret tip for you that will help you get those words flowing.

Imagine you’re staring at a blank page, unsure how to begin. The pressure of that empty space can be overwhelming, but don’t worry — I’ll make you write today.

Let’s Make This Simple: The Topic is “You”

Yes, you read that right. Today, you are the hero or the heroine of your story. Let’s choose You as the topic. Write about your journey, your likes, dislikes — anything that comes to mind.

Simple? Let’s do this now.

  1. Set a timer, let’s say 2 minutes.

No need to stress over this. Just set a timer, take a deep breath, and get ready to write.

2. Tap into your subconscious mind.

Don’t overthink — just write. This exercise is about letting your thoughts flow freely onto the page.

3. Keep your words flowing without stopping.

For the next two minutes, don’t pause. The key is to keep that pen moving or those keys tapping.

4. No Pauses Allowed.

This is a judgment-free zone. The goal is to bypass any mental blocks by writing continuously. You might surprise yourself with what you create.

How Did It Go?

Wasn’t that easier than you expected? Now, take a moment to read what you’ve written. If you can, read it aloud. Doesn’t it feel good to see your thoughts on paper?

Keep Practicing

You can use this technique with any topic. The important thing is to capture your unique voice and let it shine through your writing.

Once you’ve completed your draft, you can go back and refine it — check grammar, formatting, and all the “bla bla” stuff. With time and practice, you’ll be able to create your masterpiece in just 10 minutes or an hour. It all depends on you!
