A designer always chases creativity and passion, each day trying to give a new touch and details to make design attractive. But how do you feel when you receive a critical comment on design? Most of us get furious and don’t like it, but those who take that as an opinion and suggestion and use it to improve their design always rock.

Let’s break it down to see how you handle it when you receive a critical comment:

1- Change your mindset, whenever you receive critical feedback, think about how you can use this to improve your design, acknowledge every bit of it, and then apply it to your design to make it even better.

2- It’s good to give value to feedback but it’s even better if you can filter out what will work best for your design, so you can cut the noise.

3- Start experimentation on different designs and projects, even if you disagree with the feedback, try to implement it on some other design projects, and let’s see how it comes out.

4- After implementation, analyze your results to see how this feedback has improved your design and how you’re gonna apply this in future designs to make it even better.

It’s concluded that if you handle critique feedback with a growth point of view it sets you apart from the crowd by representing you as a person who can evolve. Always remember a great designer is the one who gives value to the critique comments.
