Often in our output of work, we think about quality vs speed. Quality will often lead us to overthink our process in creating our work, we think about the potential and generally begin to nitpick.

There are 3 factors that need to be thought about when it comes to the output of your work and these are: fast, cheap and good. James Victore’s video below illustrates this perfectly.

However, in this particular argument you’ve got to think about the medium that you’re presenting your work in and there is a an argument that great work takes time to put out especially in creative fields.

Ultimately, we’ve got to think about the pace society and the internet is moving at today and generally the quicker your turnaround time is the bigger the brand or personality you’ll build. Whilst on the flip side even if you’re putting out great quality of work, it’s only going to keep the attention of the individual for only so long. Also, because the output is significantly slower it essentially cripples you.
