Content Fly Update (Alpha 0.2) Utilizes NFTs for Proof of Job Completion
We are excited to announce the release of our Alpha 0.2 version of the Content Fly DApp running on the Internet Computer blockchain!
This article is a follow-up to our previous story: Content Fly is Bringing NFT 2.0 to Internet Computer.
We have packed in a heap of new features to this update and have already started building features for the next update.
TL;DR
We have added the following features to Content Fly with the Alpha 0.2 Update:
New Features
- Login / Sign up with Plug Wallet.
- My Web3 Wallet page where you can connect your Plug Wallet to Content Fly if you have used Internet Identity for login.
- After completing a job, you can now claim job transaction NFTs — (Proof of Job Completion & Proof of Deliverable Ownership) with your Plug Wallet.
- A new Completion tab is added to the job flow so that creators can submit the final deliverable for approval. The deliverable file will become the Deliverable Ownership NFT!
- Browse Creators page is now publicly viewable without login.
- The overall app performance has improved with the use of direct cachable HTTPS image requests to image canisters. We have also implemented scalable image and file storage canisters using actor class.
- Chat Messaging System in Job has improved with better performance and UX responsiveness. Most messages can be sent within a couple of seconds.
Enhancements / Fixes
- Job due date can now show the count down by hours or minutes.
- Clicking on Job skill or category will open similar jobs of the selected group.
- All Jobs and My Jobs will show the most recent jobs first.

Content Fly’s Alpha 0.2 update is now live. In the new release, anyone can sign up, make a creator portfolio (if desired) and list a job for content that they require. A number of demo jobs have been created on Content Fly for new users to test the job process and claim a PoJC NFT. To test the job process from the content buyers’ side and claim a DO NFT, users will need to create a job, but for a job to be completed it requires two unique parties to process the job completion steps. What’s Next
In the next Alpha 0.3 update, we will be adding the following two major enhancements amongst a list of other tweaks:
- Job Progression Status
A progression status bar for each job to show what stage the job is up to and the required steps to reach completion. The progression steps will cover all the necessary steps for both the content buyer and the content creator to undertake to fulfill their requirements in order to progress the job to the next step and completion. - Notification System
Notifications are probably the most underrated and necessary features of an application, especially when there are two parties working together, relying on regular feedback. Our focus for notifications in Content Fly is aiding job progression, ensuring every job is moving forward towards completion.
