We’ve all heard of it. In today’s Internet world, blockchain technology is an undoubtly trending topic.

If you’re a content creator, artist, social media enthusiast or just simply have interest in watching entertaining videos, it’s time for you to get acquainted with it.

Blockchain is changing the digital content industry. According to a report on Bloomberg this April, social media giants like YouTube and Facebook are losing creators to Blockchain-powered platforms. There are also reports that Facebook has started researching in blockchain.

Blockchain technology is helping boost decentralized services, which has the potential to offer fairer and more transparent payback to users’ creations and contributions.

As blockchain technology attracts more and more attention, various content blockchain projects can be seen in the market, including Contentos.

So, why should you choose to join Contentos? What makes it special?

In an interview with the BlockTribune, Mick Tsai, CEO and founder of Contentos, it highlights three key differentiations when comparing the project with other content blockchains.

Contentos has a global creative connection, Mr Tsai said. “If you look at similar white paper to talk about the content creation, a lot of them don’t have a real connection with the creators. Especially global creators”.

Live-streaming app Live.me and short-video app Cheez are the first two apps to integrate Contentos blockchain.

Contentos also has comprehensive products, he added.

Apart from Live.me and Cheez, the project also has another potential partner, called PhotoGrid. PhotoGrid is an app targeting photo creators to take photos and share within their communities. As a result, Contentos has great potential to obtain a product line covering photo, live-streaming and short videos users.
Mr. Tsai also hightlighted the huge global user base Contentos could have.

Live.me and Cheez, the first batch of apps integrated with the blockchain, have around 60 million global users worldwide and 60% of them are based in the US. “These users will be the very first wave of users who can explore the ecosystem of Contentos” Mr. Tsai said.

Contentos has already obtained investment from Live.me and Cheetah Mobile. Cheetah Mobile is a listed company on the New York Exchange with approximately 600 million global MAUs.
