Greetings from Contents Protocol team!
Our monthly report “Contents Protocol Times” includes the most recent announcements, community updates, and media coverage and will be shared every first week of the month.
Announcement
(1) Partnership with JTBC, Korean broadcasting company — Contents Protocol signed partnership deal with JTBC to develop our data analytics platform “Data Dashboard.” Through the partnership, Contents Protocol will better understand what type of data and service content producers are interested in, and reflect such needs in our data dashboard development.
(2) Update on CPT Store — Contents Protocol will launch CPT Store in late April. Deatiled launch schedule will be announced in the coming weeks.
On CPT Store, users will be able to use CPT to redeem Watcha Play subscription plans, movie vouchers, tickets for performances, electronics, etc. Watcha and Watcha Play users will receive CPT rewards by connecting their accounts and participating in customer surveys. We will also host various events for new members who sign up on CPT Store. There will be various opportunities to receive CPT rewards while participating and contributing to the content ecosystem, so please stay tuned!
Community
(1) Attended “Not For Sale” seminar — Contents Protocol team attended Not For Sale seminar and gained insight into real business cases using blockchain.
(2) Attended Klaytn Partners Day — On March 29, Klaytn held “Klaytn Partners Day” at Kakao office. Contents Protocol team attended as Klaytn’s ISP(Initial Service Partner) and met with key players in the Klaytn ecosystem. At the event, Klaytn revealed its testnet “Baobab,” Klaytn ecosystem, technology and governance.
Klaytn selected projects that have sufficient experience in their respective field and have secured meaningful size of users as its ISPs(Initial Service Partner). Total of 17 companies participate as first and second batch of partners, and Contents Protocol is taking part as the second batch. Third batch of partners were revealed at the event, and Contents Protocol team will work along with these partners to create mainstream blockchain application case.
(3) Third Meetup with D.VIP Community — Contents Protocol team held its third D.VIP meetup. D.VIP is a blockchain study and networking group run by D.Street, one of the major blockchain media in South Korea. The team and community members had a productive discussion on ideas of applying Contents Protocol, after using Watcha and Watcha Play.
