WATCHA Play is a paid subscription VOD service in Korea that’s built around WATCHA’s rating data. It is often described as the leading competitor of Netflix in Korea. With the existing relationships with 60+ content providers including FOX, Sony, Disney, HBO, NBC Universal, CJ E&M, and JTBC, WATCHA Play offers various kinds of premium content. What’s more, a majority of content consumption of WATCHA Play’s users are driven from the personalized recommendation.
WATCHA Play is currently available in Korea but is planning on its global launch in India, Malaysia, Hong Kong, Singapore, Taiwan, and more.
