Intriguing story — two actually — that come alive in parallel to each other and are craftily told by ErikLarson. Ostensibly about the 1893 Chicago World’s Fair what really stays with you is the story of one of America’s first serial killer. Reads like a novel but, chillingly, this is a true story.
