I want them to be forever changed in how they view themselves. — Robert B. Foster
Robert B. Foster is an astute business coach, entrepreneur, and motivational speaker. Having faced some of the most daunting career and life crises, Robert offers unusual depth and value to audiences hungry for business growth. Despite a knee injury at the age of thirty-four that almost cut a hole in his athletic dreams, he persevered and changed his story. Even when he was facing a foreclosure and a struggling business, he never gave up. These experiences only strengthened his resolve and gave him the perfect jump board for continued success.
Now if we can, I’d like to go way back for a little while. Where did you grow up?
Born in NYC but raised in Charlestown RI (a whole different world, lol)
What inspired your entrepreneurial journey or event?
Happened by accident. Started out as a hobby in my garage
Tell me about what problem your business solves?
Helping people find clarity in their business/life using their life’s stories.
What do you define as failure?
It doesn’t exist unless you let it. All experiences are opportunities to learn and grow
What have you felt you have failed at? What might you have done to prevent those failures?
Not realizing my power to help others sooner.
What kind of impact do you want your service to leave on your client?
I want them to be forever changed in how they view themselves.
What is your why? Why you did you start your journey?
My why is because it’s not about me. People in the world need help and I am in a position to help them
What hurdles did you personally face and how did you overcome them?
Poor credit, no savings, college dropout, business partners turned on me, changing locations 7 times, 7 surgeries. Many stories to share about overcoming them.
Do you feel your product met the needs of the market at the time of conception? Does it still?
Starting with fitness yes and yes. I was unsure about the podcast/coaching at first but there is definitely a need.
When did you realize entrepreneurship was right for you?
When I lost my restaurant management job! The universe cleared my path as I struggled to walk away from the stability.
Why did you choose entrepreneurship?
Because I clashed with every boss I’ve ever had, lol. I told my mom when I was 17 I wouldn’t be punching a time clock by the time I was 40 (did it at 38).
What advice do you have for entrepreneurs and small business owners who may not be achieving their goals?
To get clarity on what they specifically want then reverse engineer the process.
What would you say is your most driving motivation to keep doing what you to do?
Short answer, helping people is amazing!
What are you most excited or passionate about? (In both business and life or both)
In life it’s watching my kids finally apply what I’ve been teaching them! In business is helping people find that “spark” when they talk about their business.
What are the goals you most want to accomplish in your business? What are the goals that you hold personally?
I want to have a small but global brand. A small team that accomplishes great things by impacting the lives of others while gaining financial freedom.
Did you have any key mentors or people who deeply influenced who you are, what you believe in and what you’re committed to in your work and life? Tell me about them.
My parents, my first business summit, multiple mentors.
Did you have any life-changing experiences that put you on the path that led you to be doing what you’re doing today? Tell me about them.

What’s next for you in your brand? What can readers look forward to from you?
I’m currently writing a book and expanding my group to help people tell their stories.
