Ukrainian Solidarity Cannot Erase U.S. Crimes

I was six years old on September 11th, 2001 when the twin towers came down. The national tragedy happened the day after my childhood dog passed away. She always loved to bark at airplanes.

I remember my mom saying the U.S. would go to war because of what happened. She knew national politics would center around funding the invasion of Iraq. She also knew that resources would be scarce…
