Banana Bread

No Added Sugar!

Time: 30 to 40 minutes
Makes: 8 servings

Ingredients

  • 2 Mashed Banana large (1 cup mashed banana)
  • 2 eggs
  • 1/4 cup almond butter
  • 3 tbsp maple syrup
  • 2 cups almond flour or (oat flour)
  • 1 tbsp cinnamon powder
  • 2 tbsp baking powder
  • 4 tbsp almond milk
  • 1/2 cup of chopped walnuts (optional)
  • 1/4 cup Melted Butter

Instructions

Preheat the oven to 350°F (180°C).

Melt the butter if it is not already melted in a medium bowl.

To the same bowl, add 2 eggs and whisk it until everything is combined and the mixture is smooth now add the milk and maple syrup, and give it another whisk.

Mash the banana with dinner fork it is not already mashed if you like your bananas to entirely smooth you can do so, or leave it like small chunks.

Add Baking powder, Almond butter, Cinnamon powder, and almond flour to the same bowl and stir the ingredients with a spatula.

Add the chopped walnuts to the batter and give it a mix.

Grease the pan with melted butter or oil (I have used cast iron to bake my bread for a different shape than loaf pan— remember there are no fixed rules.)and add the prepared batter, smooth the top of the batter. You can top the batter with more walnuts.

Bake in preheated oven for 40 minutes, you can see the brown layer on the top and as a normal cake testing rule if you place a toothpick in the middle of the bread it should come out clean.

That's all! Cool it off for 10 minutes and should be ready to serve!
