Welcome to Cookpad’s global HQ in Bristol, UK.
We’ve been homed in a beautiful grade II-listed building on Broad Plain in Bristol city centre, known as Silversmiths, since June 2017. We’ll soon be expanding into the neighbouring Goldsmiths as our team continues to grow.
Since moving in in June the focus has been to create a space that reflects Cookpad’s values, and finally this month our new spaces were opened!
2. The new spaces
We’re thrilled to have our new break-out areas finished, where we can all work and relax.
Lots of wonderful people within and beyond Cookpad have helped create our new spaces. Above is our bespoke bookshelf where we can showcase some literature to inspire us to cook and be great. The top pick for us recently has been ‘Sapiens: A Brief History of Humankind’ by Yuval Noah Harari.
We have two meeting rooms: Locksmiths is our largest meeting room, benefiting from south-facing light making it a lovely room to work in. Glassmiths is smaller (most of us would have been interviewed in here!) but still enjoys the south-facing light 🌞
The plan for the future is to create a huge kitchen in our annex with everything we’ll need to cook and create as much as possible. We want to cook around our work and encourage everyone to have fun whilst they do it.
