Top Chef At Sea: Get the Scoop from Ash Fulk

Top Chef is so much more than a flash in the pan. The show, now ready to embark on its 14th season, has turned out some of the most talented chefs in the country, including Ash Fulk, who gave us the scoop on his plans for our upcoming Caribbean sailing.

How do the flavors of the Caribbean inspire you?

Caribbean flavors are super inspiring because they are sort of an amalgam of all these different cultures of the world that have come together to add spices, fruits and vegetables and beautiful fish flavors to their cuisine. There’s really nothing else like it. And there’s far more diversity and sophistication than most people assume.

What food reminds you most of home?

Either my mother’s meatloaf or avocado. I’m a California kid at heart.

Since you’ll be ringing in the New Year with Celebrity, what are your New Year’s resolutions?

My New Year’s resolution is to stop drinking.

Where is your favorite place to dine on board?

My favorite restaurant is probably the Lawn Club Grill because you know… I love fire!
