In that story, I shared a framework that I’ve resonated with. It’s the Acceptance and Commitment Therapy (ACT) framework. This is a framework to cope with stress by focusing on emotional acceptance and committed action. It can be used for anxiety, depression, obsessive-compulsive disorder, psychosis, eating disorders, substance use disorders, workplace stress and chronic pain. It consists of six stages designed to develop psychological flexibility and strength.
