The aim of this series
I know from my own education, that I wasn’t given any classes on what the political arena is all about. I assumed I could make perfect sense of it and, rather naïvely, trusted that what politicians said in TV debates and in their manifestos would, for some reason, be what they actually did.
Well, politicians don’t have reputations as liars for no reason.
Therefore, in the name of empowerment to the masses, over the next ten weeks we’re going to give you critical knowledge of key political philosophies that have developed over time that will factor into this election, and demonstrate how they influence society.
It’s tempting to view political parties like brands, like Apple vs. Android, but it’s of the utmost importance to recognise that political parties decide the quality of your life in a much more fundamental way, guiding the ship of the country through the waters…
