4 months ago, I published the following piece highlighting why I was only accepting solution oriented submissions to Coping With Capitalism.
My intention with that piece was to focus on inspiring solution oriented submissions rather than those that perpetuate cycles of despair. While I do stand by the need for solution oriented submissions, I am no longer only accepting such submissions.
I want to make sure that people have a space to rant, to make sense of their experiences within capitalism and to most importantly, be seen by others.
This community is a safe space to embrace the lives that we’ve been presented with, even if we can’t yet make sense of it. That’s why writing is such a powerful tool for the individual. It gives us an opportunity to reflect and process what we are experiencing. The good, the bad and everything in between.
