greeting a blurry vision
older as time files
one new pair with definition
design is what she buys
but it depends on her decision
you’ll see a change in her eyes”
exactly because of her condition

mother keeps the collection
you see memories in the reflection

one more trip to the optical store
looking for a different frame
down the memory lane to restore

goodbye to that person
last picture with that look
as she changes into a new version
sharing the memories she took
someone with new emotion
eyeglasses she leaves in the book
so long and hello new impression
