At least 6 people have already become victims of Hurricane Ciara. According to weather forecasters, the most dangerous situation, which was expected on the night of Monday, February 10, has already passed. Uprooted trees, torn roof coverings are only a small part of Germany’s losses. “Orange”, the penultimate hazard level declared in connection with the approach of a hurricane in northern France. Storm wind and waves collapse on the west coast of Normandy. Meanwhile, the Ciara is preparing to strike in Belgium. There is also declared an “orange” hazard level. At the airports of Brussels, Liege and Charleroi, about a hundred flights were canceled. And in the Netherlands, where a hurricane is also approaching, a traditional bicycle race took place, the participants of which had to overcome 8.5 kilometers against the wind. This time, the brave cyclists had to face NOT only the wind, but also the sand that he brought from nearby beaches.

The German railway Deutsche Bahn warned of possible traffic problems and recommended to refrain from traveling until February 11th. Lufthansa Airlines has canceled some of its flights. Fortunately, Deutsche Bahn almost did not feel any significant changes, on Monday February 10, trading ended at around 10.41 USD. You can not say about Deutsche Lufthansa AG, where on Monday, after closing last week at 14.690 USD, trading went down a few percent and ended at 14.490 USD per share. Most likely, this is temporary and in a couple of days we should expect a reverse growth to around 15.060.

Due to the hurricane wind in Germany, windmills now produce 43.7 gigawatts of energy, that is a great indicator.

We are sincerely sorry for the fans of Borussia and Cologne. Unfortunately, their match on Sunday had to be postponed. “Because of the inability to guarantee the safe departure of fans from the stadium…“: German media reported. Since Borussia plays at home, she is a clear favorite. The coefficient on it was an average of 1.65 against 4.9 in Cologne.
