Corda 4.1 is now available!
The artifacts can be found on artifactory here with the code available on GitHub, as ever.
Let’s start with the biggest number: 150. That’s how many bug fixes, usability tweaks, and documentation improvements we’ve made since the release of Corda 4.0. Though few things in life are as certain as death, taxes, and a point release shortly after major software versions; Corda 4.1 brings all of the lessons learned during the development of Corda Enterprise 4.0 to the open-source community.
In Corda 4.1 you’ll find the core features of both Corda and Corda Enterprise are more closely aligned than past releases, making CorDapps testing in mixed-type environments easier than ever! We’ve learned some important lessons from Corda/Corda Enterprise 3.0, and we think Corda API version 4 delivers a stable, robust, feature-rich platform to drive your DLT needs from PoC to production; whichever flavour of Corda you’ve chosen.
Upgrading from Corda 4 to 4.1 should be relatively painless, and we strongly suggest all developers and users upgrade their nodes and apps as soon as possible to benefit from the past 3 ½ months of polish. For those appreciative of the theme we like to run through these things… that’s about long enough grow a whole tiger!!
It’s not flashy, it’s not packed full of new features, but we’re proud nonetheless to deliver you a whole lot of goodness and work with you all to deliver it. I, for one, cannot wait to see what the community builds with it.
