To supercharge fan engagement the Core Network fuses entertainment, sports and esports to create a new level of events, sponsorship, merchandise sales, and betting. By utilizing the blockchain, the Core Network is the first of its kind technology platform and ecosystem for augmented reality sports and entertainment games. Executive Summary

With over 2 billion smartphone users in the world generating more than US$100 billion in annual gross revenue, projected to double by 2020, mobile gaming in sports and entertainment has become the bedrock of a US$1.1 billion eSports, US$100 billion mobile games, US$61B sports advertising and US$37.9 billion sports gaming market. The Core Network unique value proposition is an open and distributed network that fully disrupts audience engagement and advertising offering augmented reality games for sports and entertainment on the blockchain leveraging existing technology and an award-winning team.

Problem

Regulation and centralization of licensing and intellectual property rights in sports and entertainment constrains narratives, audience reach, and financial potential in a fragmented and global digital marketplace. The audience engagement, payment, and distribution models are not suited for digital natives and the broadest potential audiences. In 2018, 33% of total global advertising revenue is forecast to be digital. The decentralized, fragmented, and global nature of digital engagement, distribution and consumption of sports and entertainment content and games requires an open and distributed network that transforms audience engagement and advertising. Disintermediating and redistributing resources and value closer to consumers, social media influencers, athletes and game developers who can best create and iterate narratives for engaged audiences.

Solution — Core Blockchain Network

The Core Blockchain Network (Core Network) is an open and distributed protocol built on the Ethereum blockchain. It aims to mitigate the current inherent deficiencies of existing sports and entertainment audience engagement, advertising, and distribution models, for example, an athlete or influencer may go direct to brand and vice versa with no impedance in deal flow. By marrying blockchain technology with mobile technology, augmented reality, advertising, distribution and development, new systems to support enhanced audience engagement can be drastically improved and sped to market. The Core Network leverages the new CORE Coin, existing and new game titles, and an existing game engine.

CORE Coin

“CORE Coin” ERC20 token is a new cryptocurrency that brings advertisers, storytellers, athletes, influencers, and audiences together in a new way. At its core are great sports and entertainment technology and titles.

CORE will be earned and used by players, game developers, partners, clients, film and television producers, athletes, instagram influencers, advertisers and audiences for mobile sports and entertainment experiences. Audiences and advertisers use CORE Coins to buy items and services for themselves or for others. CORE can then be used for advertising inventory, level-ups, unlocks, digital items via in-app purchases, and physical merchandise. The community contributes to development, participates in programming, votes for on-air contestants, donates to charity, subscribes to content, and purchases advertising associated with sports and entertainment titles.

CORE can be used in games, by gamers, and for the creation of new games. CORE can be used to earn executive producer credits and fund production for screen-based entertainment. CORE can be used for advertising, charity, and sports. The benefit to 3rd developers integrating the Core Network into their app is access to brands, merchandise, charities, advertising, influencers, and athletes. Core Network offers more value given wide use across many apps in an open network, than one used strictly within a proprietary system.

3 Pillars of Core Network

Game Titles, Game Engine, and Core Network

The system includes three main components. The 1) Game Engine (already in use with new features to be added), the 2) Core Network (with new and existing applications) and 3) Game titles (some under development). The Game Engine and a preliminary set of titles is in market and in use by large brands such as CBS, Cineplex, ESPN, and others. Opening the technology and infrastructure to 3rd parties, athletes, brands and advertisers creates a strong core for direct and advanced audience engagement. That is why the community and the platform is called CORE.

Game Engine

The focus of this initiative are the titles and the Network. New and existing titles have access to existing technology and infrastructure to support growth, maintenance, hosting, and so on. The technology and infrastructure, the Game Engine, is a multiple award-winning platform from Mobovivo. Mobovivo is a wholly owned subsidiary of ePlay Digital.

Core Network, having access to the Game Engine, the rest of the technology platform and existing clients and partners creates unfair production and marketing advantages for new game titles and the Core Network.

Game Titles

Game titles under development by ePlay Digital, others to be released for Mobovivo clients, and those from 3rd party developers build on this existing technology and infrastructure, benefit from an existing and experienced team at Mobovivo and ePlay Digital. The game titles are simply different use cases for the same platform.

Core Network

The final component, really the most important, is the Core Network. The Core Network connects participant engagement to rewards, incentives and the opportunity to redeem engagement for further engagement, advertising, product placement, physical merchandise, digital items, subscriptions, content and charitable donations.
