Hi everybody. All we are doing workout, but the physical constitution of each person is quite different. One day I heard one of my friend told me “Hey, Wooin I think I am an person who gain the weight only drink water.” How do you think about this statement. Is that guy really get the weight from water? Of course not he ate something had lots of calories or did not use enough energy. However, it is true that our body can be divided into some ways, which are Ectomorph, Endomorph, and Mesomorph. The definition of these vocabularies are:

Ectomorph: Lean and long, with difficulty building muscle.

Endomorph: Big, high body fat, often pear-shaped, with a high tendency to store body fat.

Mesomorph: Muscular and well-built, with a high metabolism and responsive muscle cells.

As you can see those people have totally different body types and so their strategy to achieve their goal of workout will be different. Therefore, it is important to know what kind of type of body you have. For instance, my friend has a type that endomorph that is why he explains himself he gets weight even he drinks water. If you know your body type, then you should make strategy.

What kind of strategy is good for each body type? You may think that this people should not do the cardio because the purpose of cardio is losing weight. This statement is half correct and half wrong. Everyone requires cardio but this type of people need to run fast to increase their muscle mass. Short time but intense running requires lots muscle instead of endurance. Also, ectomorph requires heavy weight lifting but not too many in one cycle. For instance, 6 times in 1 cycle, and max 3~4 cycles.

How about endomorph? This type of people requires lots endurance type workout because they need to burn their fat. Therefore, they need run at least 30 minutes, but not too fast. Definition of not too fast means light running. When lifting weight they need weight around 15~20 times in one cycle possible, and slow as possible as they can. Even same weight, if you do very slowly you will notice you can’t finish your workout as you have done. Mesomorph people need mixed strategy. This type of people is the hardest but easiest people because they are in the middle. What I can say is you can do whatever you think efficient.

Today post is done here. Have a good day and week and see you~~~
