Okay, who doesn’t love music? Music is a universal language that people from all over can use to express themselves.
Music makes life just that much better and makes it exciting.

Sooo…why not appreciate all the music the world has to offer whenever you want. That’s what Limewire, amongst other music stealing softwares, was for.

The bonus = Yay! Free music.

The reality = You’re ripping off the artist who made that music.

I agree music is an art to be shared with the world, but how do we expect artists to continue to make music for our ears when they receive no compensation for it because everyone is illegally downloading their song. Back in the day artists could drop one hit and be set for life because of the money they earned. Now artists have to build themselves a name and then hope they can continuously stay on top in the public’ mind in order to make a living. The music industry is a rough business to get into already, so let’s not make artists’ lives that much harder.

Thankfully, with the evolution of software, apps like Spotify and SoundCloud are available. These apps are perfect because they DO compensate artists in order to play their songs (and depending on how much their songs are played = more $$$) and they only charge you a small monthly fee. What’s not to love?

You get unlimited access to music from all genres for less than $20/month. That’s a win right there.
So sign up for Spotify and get your jam on, fool!
