Ben Gilbert is the co-founder of Pioneer Square Labs, a startup studio and venture capital fund. He is an entrepreneur and investor, recently serving as the interim CEO of Taunt, where he now serves on the board. He has a background in product management, shipping the first version of Office for iPad at Microsoft. His career at Microsoft later took him to run The Garage, the company’s grassroots innovation program.
Ben was named the 2017 Young Entrepreneur of the Year by GeekWire. He is the co-host of the popular venture capital podcast, “Acquired,” which analyzes landmark acquisitions and IPOs in the technology sector. He is also a member of the World Economic Forum’s Global Shapers organization.
Andrew Ackerman is a successful serial entrepreneur, startup mentor, and occasional angel investor. He runs Dreamit’s UrbanTech Accelerator and sees over 2000 startups each year, selecting fewer than 20 to work with. Andrew is also a contributing writer for Fortune, AlleyWatch, Edsurge, The 74 Million, etc. Prior to Dreamit, Andrew worked in management consulting, venture capital and private equity.
Chad Rubin is the founder and CEO of both Crucial Vacuum, an e-commerce business he grew to 8-figures in 7 years. He is a Top 250 Amazon Seller, and co-founded Skubana as an all-in-one ERP system and operations platform designed for high volume sellers to run and automate their business. Skubana is the leading inventory/business management system for ecommerce SMBs.
