JOHN LOOKED UP FROM HIS MOMENT OF AGONY, and yet he remains seated. He stands up, looks intensely at the watching crowd who is impresent in his reality. And so his heart torn between a million things and a love he shall never have, JOHN began.

JOHN:

Jealousy rots the heart — tunneling one’s vision as you allow devious paranoia to seep; things that do not make sense bend in a way that they do, your mind, your mind, allowing it…

Disgusting, disgusting jealousy — yet jealous or not, would it not be so very sweet to have your way for once?

Who here of moral character or not would not dare to kill if his/her jealousies approve of it? Only the repercussions of such acts repress the devil within us.

Tormented is this soul for reasons unknown.
For time unknown.
For desires unknown.

Shall I let it rot me, longing for the warmth and love I am so jealous of —
or pay the devil no mind for my life is much grander than does mine jealousy deems my desire?
