What was your favorite Disney film growing up? I’d guess everyone has at least one.

The famed movie studio has told some of the most imaginative stories in entertainment history. In honor of its centennial, Disney released the short film “Once Upon a Studio” bringing together many classic characters of our lives from Mickey and Minnie Mouse to Hercules, Maui and Moana, the cast of “Wreck-It Ralph,” “Frozen’s” Elsa and Anna, and the entire Madrigal family.

The official trailer for “Once Upon a Studio” from Disney, now streaming on Disney+.

The 12-minute film has an adorable premise. Similar to “Night at the Museum,” the characters come alive after the Disney Imagineers leave the office for the day, assembling in front of the building for a once-in-a-generation picture, the camera hilariously set up by Goofy.

Amazing fact: 543 animated Disney characters (both heroes and villains) from more than 85 Disney films are in the finished product — I hope this photo is available for purchase!

It was great seeing some of the oldest characters interact with the newer ones. At one point, the group comes together for a chorus of “When You Wish Upon a Star,” culminating in the final notes sung by Jiminy Cricket who may have introduced the world to the iconic tune.

“Once Upon a Studio” is a must-see and just seeing the loveable characters, even briefly, can bring you back to your childhood.

You can only watch the film on Disney+ and Hulu.
