How Working and Traveling Secretly Became a Trend
WFH should be called Working From Holiday
So, by now, you know what remote working or working from home is. It’s a privilege many would love in their current job, with only some jobs offering this option.
During the pandemic, we saw most jobs transition into this way of working, but as we’ve returned to the norm, many are now back in the offices at least a couple of days a week.
For a good portion of workers out there, however, they are still predominately 100% remote (like myself). With this in mind, I started joining communities on Facebook dedicated to remote work or at least working from home groups, and I found myself stumbling upon a new type of worker.
Not those working from home but those who work while traveling.
I spoke to a friend who recently did something like this
With this in mind, I found one friend who recently traveled overseas to visit relatives for a week. I thought it was just a simple holiday, but I found out she hadn’t booked any leave for the trip.
I asked her how she managed to do it, and she just said:
‘I just made sure I still worked in the same timezones’.
