Priscilla Maryanski will be a 1st-year college freshman at NJIT this fall. In CVT, she helps craft literature reviews and maintains community-based interaction. For data visualizing, Priscilla creates vizzes more geared towards media platforms and co-manages media analytics.

Why are you in CVT?

I’m a firm believer that contributing to a small part of the entire solution is the only effective way to go about this problem. COVID-19 information comes from anywhere and everywhere now, and I wanted to help centralize this information all into one place, CVT.

What are you learning in CVT?

For technical skills, I’m learning how to collect, analyze, and visualize data in a structured format. For soft skills, I am learning best practices for contacting someone for the first time. I’m realizing that this is a community.

What does creating clear and meaningful content mean to you?

There’s too much information about COVID-19 out there right now. However, information can in fact be concise, but still comprehensible.
