The CSC Brisbane project ended last Friday. While the team and our partners all seemed sad for their collaborations to come to an end, the team took pride in their recommendations and both World Wildlife Fund and Royal Flying Doctors Service seemed extremely pleased with all the teams recommendations. I had the opportunity to participate in their final long presentations on Wednesday of last week by video and I was extremely impressed.

Both teams serving at WWF and RFDS did an outstanding job of coming up with solid recommendations that both organizations can act upon. For the WWF team, they came back with out of the box ideas including recommending block chain technology for research data. The RFDS teams also recommended cutting edge technologies and ways to harness their data to make better informed decisions, but I will let all the team members from both projects share the details in their blogs.

I am so proud to be an IBMer and to have seen first-hand how a smart group of IBM employees can make recommendations that could change how both organizations might operate in the future.

Australian Business Volunteers, our partner in the CSC in Brisbane, put together a great video capturing the team’s feelings about their experience. Enjoy! Link to video
