Greetings from the Cortex Team and Happy Moon Festival! We are just a few days away from our first TestNet and our team is working extremely hard to make it happen.
Technical Updates
The technical development has centered around the TestNet that is set to be released in Q3 2018. The Cortex TestNet has made great progress and entered the final sprint phase. The final details will be released to the public shortly after the release of the TestNet.
Technical Progress in AI
The technical progress of the AI part has been continuing at a good pace: the INT8 model was developed as an input and output, reducing the model size by 75% without compromising the accuracy of the model. In addition, the alpha version of Cortex MRT has been completed and are being tested.
Technical Progress in Blockchain
The technical progress of the chain mainly focuses on the design and development of the block browser, the implementation and optimization of the PoW algorithm, the implementation and testing of the inferred part of the chain, the storage service of the model and data, and the implementation and testing of the economic mechanism.
Community Updates
Consensus Singapore
On September 19th and 20th, Cortex attended TechXLR8 Asia which brought together the hottest tech shows in APAC: 5G Asia, IoT World Asia, NV & SDN, the AI Summit, Project Kairos Asia, and Consensus Singapore.
We have met great people and projects from all over the world including Perlin from local Singapore, DBex from Dubai, Cryptomind from Thailand, and several Japanese media/PR companies.
China-Swiss Artificial Intelligence Data Conference
Cortex founder and CEO, Ziqi Chen, was invited to attend the China-Swiss Artificial Intelligence Data Conference. During the meeting, Ziqi gave a detailed introduction on the direction and vision of AI and blockchain, and the AI on Blockchain Ecosystem that Cortex will implement. Our project gained an extensive attention from the AI professional industry researchers.
