Cortex Project Updates #16
Merry Xmas from the Cortex Team! Recently, Cortex has been assisting our community developers to complete the internal testing and small-scale beta testing of the first AI DApp based on the Cortex TestNet. We have collected feedback and suggestions from various participants, and AI DApp developers have been fine-tuning the application. A large-scale open beta will be open to the entire community to participate soon!
Technical Updates
- Assisted the community AI DApp development team to complete the first AI DApp development and testing;
- Expanded the built-in function of the contract language Solidity, abstracting the AI smart contract function logic;
- Investigated more AI model fixed-point solution, upgraded the design of the deterministic neural network calculation map to support the efficiency tuning of the more complex model in the fixed-point process;
- Fixed several issues such as storage layer speed limit and DApp interface call delay;
- Optimized the underlying communication and implemented asynchronous distributed gradient compression algorithm in the distributed training system which provides a better user interface usage logic and deployment process;
Community Updates
The first AI DApp Small-Scale Beta ended successfully
In the past two weeks, Cortex has teamed up with community AI DApp developers to organize a 10-person small-scale beta that ran for 4 days. The beta includes: familiarizing with AI DApp’s gameplay, understanding the Cortex ecosystem, reporting game feedback, and simulating AI DApp game process.
10 contestants were each issued 2,500 CTXC test coins to participate in each round of the game. There were no restrictions on the strategies and methods to win the game. At the end of the game, participants were ranked based on the number of test coins held, then split 10,000 CTXC (real token) provided by Cortex Labs.
We welcome more developers to participate in the development of the Cortex ecosystem. The Cortex Labs will provide technical supports and rewards to continue to build and improve the Cortex ecosystem.
New Telegram Group for Developers and keen Believers
We are making good progress in community development. Please join our new official telegram group: t.me/CortexOfficialEN. This new group is a place for our keen believers and developers to discuss about Cortex and AI on Blockchain. There were many zombies in the old group, so now is a good time to clear them out and give real supporters a more intimate and accommodating community environment to interact with each other, discuss AI on blockchain, and follow exciting updates on Cortex.
Livestream Events continue
In last week’s live broadcast, we shared the Cortex team’s recent activities in Thailand and discussed the relevant laws and regulations of the blockchain industry in Thailand and the status quo in the blockchain industry.
