Amongst the happy news of the Chinese government’s official endorsement of blockchain 🌇, the Cortex community also had two great weeks, featuring the development of MRT & CVM 👨‍💻, technical research in zero-knowledge proof and deterministic AI oracles for other public chains 🏦, development of DeFi solutions, and San Francisco Blockchain Week 🤝.

Technical Updates 🤖

CVM & MRT Development

Improved the input checking logic for MRT: added checking for naming, multiple input errors, and extra parameters.
Rebuilt the conversion process for MRT, unified operator conversion operations, separated model traversal and operator processing logic.
MRT now simplifies input model, performing transpose elimination, multiplication elimination etc. to reduce computations.
Added unit test for MRT. Added regression testing and robustness.
Designed PoW tailored toward CVM operators.

Technical Research

Researched the on-chain applications for zero-knowledge proof in anonymous and bulk delivery.
Researched the possibilities of Cortex’s providing deterministic AI oracles for other public chains.

Cortex Full Node

Deployed a test contract of DeFi solutions on Cortex and completed the corresponding front-end code logic.

Other Community Updates🌲

DApp Community

The first AI DApp in history, Digital Clash, developed by the DevBug team, just finished its first round of public testing. The reward pool reached 264400 CTXC 🤑 and close to 100 players participated in the game. The winning team divided 98% of the reward pool while the rest 2% went to the DevBug team for further development of the game. The second round just started and we encourage you all to give it a try. San Francisco Blockchain Week

The Cortex team was at San Francisco Blockchain Week, where we connected with numerous investors, developers and blockchain enthusiasts and shared our vision for realizing the new generation of AI smart contracts. In particular, we played the Digital Clash to demonstrate the concept of AI on Blockchain, which is no longer an abstract concept but implemented in a real awesome game!
