Technical Updates 🤖
MRT & CVM R&D
1. Improved CVM and MRT technical documentation and wiki, including the setup tutorial, function design, user interface, and quantization process etc. Refer to CVM-Runtime project page for details.
2. The CVM Formalization code has been updated to improve readability. Currently, there is only one operator that has not been updated.
3. Repaired the formal description logic of CVM operators and some operator vulnerabilities.
4. Implemented style transfer network in MXNet and conducted fine-tuning training. The detailed features of style transfer are well preserved and the color saturation is high. Currently testing model quantization and CVM call.
Cortex Full Node Development
1. Completed the AI Smart Contract Hello World tutorial and fixed the contract code bug in the tutorial.
2. Completed the rough draft for the AI model training, MRT quantization, and upload tutorial.
3. Fixed invalid torrents on the TestNet; the latest CVM-Runtime code has passed tests on both the MainNet and TestNet.
4. Completed the CortexTheseus TestNet generation function as the basis for a series of other tests. Increased the test coverage of client and other modules.
5. Modified Quota and QuotaUsed data structures to improve system performance and optimized other code structures.
6. For TorrentFS, added storage layer tools.
7. Optimized the security of the coroutine.
Miscellaneous
1. Investigated the homomorphic encryption libraries HELib and SEAL; explored using the SEAL library to implement encrypted convolutional computations.
2. Investigated facial recognition and facial detection algorithms, as well as 3D reconstruction algorithms.
On-chain Ecosystem
1. Continued to develop MainNet and TestNet auxiliary tools.
2. Continued to organize and maintain on-chain data.
3. Bithumb technical support.

- The backend development of the Cortex forum’s new version has entered the test phase. UI design and front-end development are in progress.
- Cortex’s new official website’s front end is being built.
- Drafting CeFi and DeFi analysis report to be released soon.
- Cortex technical documentation’s multilingual translation is underway.
- Continued to collect, translate, and create original in-depth content articles on DeFi, AI, etc.
