Happy World Poetry Day!

I don’t know if I would call myself an aficionado or a fan of poetry. I’m definitely no expert on the subject. I know I like it, even though I would be hard pressed to name too many poets beyond William Shakespeare, Ogden Nash, and Robert Frost. (Okay, I actually have read more than those three: Milton, Cummings, Poe, Blake, a few others.) But I saw it was World Poetry Day today, so I thought I’d share a few poems I have enjoyed over the years, with some brief commentary. Feel free to comment with your favorite poems!
