The Shins premiere spooky video for new song “Dead Alive” — watch

The Shins premiered a pair of new songs in London last month. Today, one of those tracks, titled “Dead Alive”, has been officially released as the band’s latest single and first official preview of their next album. The Chutes Too Narrow-esque cut also comes with a Halloween-themed music video, in which frontman James Mercer dreams about being a skeleton and a giant.

The Shins’ new LP is supposedly arriving “early next year”. It serves as the follow-up to 2012’s Port of Morrow.
