What you need to know to participate in the Singularity Era 1 NFT drop
We are the Champions, my frens! It’s time to share the alpha about the Singularity Era 1 NFT drop. What would an NFT game be without the NFTs? So here is the big bang you’ve been waiting for.
Our aim is to reward as many of our community for participating in our token launch as we possibly can. We’re also aware that demand for Cosmic Champs NFTs might far exceed supply, so we are doing all we can to make the launch as fair and inclusive as possible — just like we did for the token launch!

- There will be a White List to participate in the NFT drop coming soon in June
- There will be copious ways, and mucho chances, to participate in the White List selection
- The NFTs available to the White List will have a set price that’s designed to be fair for our supporters
- Even if you miss out on the White List, there will still be a public sale you can participate in
- You absolutely, definitely want to have some of these Genesis Season NFTs in your wallet because they are teeming with benefits no future season will have
- Era 1 can only be bought on an exclusive marketplace with $COSG (secondary marketplaces are up to you!)

White List
OK, let’s talk about the space ship in the room — the White List. Basically, we don’t want opportunistic wallets to snap up all the NFTs and hold the Cosmic Champs community to ransom. To gain entry to the community sale of Cosmic Champs NFTs, you will need to prove your participation to our community, and also each wallet will be limited to purchasing a maximum of four NFTs. That’s more than enough to play the Beta version of the game, and if you want a full deck of NFTs you can always participate on the secondary market, or even wait for Season 2!
Here’s the main ways to enter the White List:
- There will be 50 places as rewards for Community Challenges (hosted by Community Manager Opa each week)
- There will be 150 places available in our Discord channel. Launching on May 9, there will be regular spots available in our channel via a special purpose bot that will run until May 31. There will be daily chances to enter the draw.
- Yieldly community will have 100 places available — please follow the directions from the Yieldly team to enter the draw!
- Tinyman community will have 50 places available — please follow directions from the Tinyman team!
- There will be 10 places available for people who join our newsletter. To follow the newsletter, please sign up via the www.cosmicchamps.com website
The NFT Drops
The fun isn’t over once you are on the white list! What matters, of course, is the NFTs! More posts will be coming covering the characters and the lore. But here are the stats.
- There are 1560 NFTs in Season 1 in total
- There will be 8 kinds of Champs, and 2 kinds of ships (156 of each) making up the full drop
- Of each champ, there will be 100 Common, 50 Super Rare (5 different types with 10 of each) and 6 Unique Legendary
- We’re aiming for each Ship to be unique
- At least 1000 NFTs will be available via the sales
- 750 NFTs will available to the White List including Commons and Rare at a set price
- 250 NFTs will be available to the public via Reverse Auction including Commons, Super Rare, and Unique Legendary
- The remaining 560 NFTs will be distributed as prizes and as part of community incentives
Marketplace
The Cosmic Champs NFTs will be available at a dedicated Cosmic Champs NFT store, and available to purchase with $COSG only. Like all ASA NFTs using the ARC3 standard, they will be compatible on any secondary Algorand NFT marketplace after the sale. We will release news about the marketplace closer to the launch date.
We hope you didn’t need a physics degree to get all of that! We’ve put a lot of thought into our NFT drop and hope it will set new heights for the entire Algofam!
As parting thoughts, we hope that our community understands that 3D NFTs are not a simple or inexpensive project to create. It’s unlikely that any price that we ask for them on the marketplace will cover the costs of creating them. However, we are setting the prices at what we believe to be reasonable for the community because we believe in play-to-earn not pay-to-play! So we hope you are amongst the fortunate few to get hold of our original Alpha drop!
