Cosmic Champs October Community Update
Closed beta launch, competitions, COSG rewards, and Cosmic Quests
As we complete another exciting month here at Cosmic Champs, we are also embarking on a new adventure! The closed beta version of the Cosmic Champs play to earn tower rush game is here!
Beta Bang
In the final days of October, we launched the closed beta of our mobile play to earn game built on Algorand. In the first 24 hours of the closed beta, 688 games were played and enjoyed by our community.
The closed beta will be back soon in November, once we implement some upgrades and assess the log reports from the launch period.
The community rallied behind the beta, making videos and even doing a live Twitch!

As a community led game, we’ve implemented a changelog board, where our community can suggest and vote on features, as well as keep track of new builds and updates. Take a look and participate! The most voted features will be top of the list to be added to the game.
Cosmic Competitions
It was a month of competitions at Cosmic Champs! Cosmic Champs and our leading partners teamed up to spread beta passes and COSG far and wide. We hosted competitions with Tinyman, Pera, and Cometa
The Cosmic Ambassador’s DAO also took the lead, hosting collaborations and competitions in the Algorand NFT ecosystem.
The Ambassador’s DAO partnered with Alchemon to host NFT giveaways in Discord, and the Stupid Horse team even incorporated Cosmic Champs NFTs into their NFT races! Given how exclusive the Thurstober racing club is, this is a huge boon for our members!
NFT holders were able to race them amongst the horse NFTs and the the NFTs with the most wins, got 500 $COSG each. The amount of activity in the Discord racing channels was wild and it was great to see!
DeFi System
There’s been plenty of benefits for COSG and NFT holders! The Yieldly pools were back, as well Tinyman, Humble, and the launch of the Cometa pools. The COSG rewards went out again too, to Season 1 NFT holders.
Cosmic Quests
The month wouldn’t be complete without mentioning the launch of our Cosmic Champs quests on Crew3, a platform for building communities in web3. Crew3 has been expanding rapidly, and even implemented Algorand wallets to make it easier for our community to grow.
In October, we hosted 4 weekly sprints, as well as the overall winners of the leaderboard for the month of October. We gave out COSG rewards, and NFTs, and have been excited by the immense support show by our community.
In 30 days, more than 4200 quests were completed by 170 community members. Special commendation to Jackrabbix, Grichard, Kanishka, Harshana and Tharaka for their inspirational efforts to contribute daily to the quests.
Cross Chain Spaces
CEO Matty Blanchard and Jetropolis from the Cosmic Ambassador’s DAO joined the crew from HashPack, Earthlings Land, and Mad Apes for a cross chain talk featuring NFTs on Hedera, V-Chain, and Algorand. More than 100 people listened to the live!

ABOUT COSMIC CHAMPS
