How to Access the Cosmic Champs Closed Beta Game
Download the closed beta game onto your Android mobile from September 29th!
Woohoo! It’s here! Kudos to everyone who’s hung around while we got our mobile play to earn game ready for closed beta launch! It’s been six big months since we launched the Cosmic Gold (COSG) token in April, and the first season of NFTs in June!
We’ve finally hit closed beta launch, and here’s the essential instructions that you will need to download and play Cosmic Champs for the first time! Get ready to BATTLE!
TLDR
- Cosmic Champs closed beta game will launch Friday 28 October 7AM UTC / 9AM CET for approx 24 hours
- The game will be back approx Tuesday 1st of November pending updates
- Check if you are on the allow list beta.cosmicchamps.com/allowlist
- Opt into the beta pass, and it will be sent to your wallet before closed beta launch if you’re on the allow list
- Download the game onto an Android device, install, create an account, connect Pera wallet and start playing!
- If you don’t connect a wallet that holds beta pass NFT you won’t be able to start the battle
- Once you connect your wallet, you’ll need to manually return to the app — e.g. close Pera and click back on your device
- Report your bugs on the form at beta.cosmicchamps.com/bug
- Need someone online to play? Go to Discord and visit the game play channels to find frens! We’ll have a live play session with Matty and Simon too on launch day and weekly thereafter
- Don’t have a beta pass? Come to any of our AMAs this week with Tinyman, Cometa, and Algo Gaming Guild to go in the running (there’ll be competitions with other partners, too)
- All week is a party! There’ll be AMAs, partner events, giveaways, and a special collaborations hosted by the Ambassador’s DAO
- The closed beta has limited functionality so we can fix bugs and make sure the core game mechanics are working as intended
- During the beta period, we’ll be rolling out more functionality such as: Ships, Steel Chips, new Champs, P2E rewards, tournaments, skin stacking, an in-game shop, and PVC gameplay!
Claim your beta pass
It’s not too late to opt into the beta pass. If you were on the allow list for the beta pass and opted in, a beta pass will be sent to your wallet soon.
Only people who were on the allow list for our Season 1 NFTs and participated in the shuffle or had an NFT in their wallet at the time of the snapshot on Monday this week are on the allow list for beta pass. Here’s a link to the sheet with the wallets: beta.cosmicchamps.com/allowlist
Don’t worry if you aren’t on the allow list! There will be lots of beta pass giveaways during AMAs, and the open beta (no pass required) will be available early November.

Beta Game Instructions
Here’s where the fun begins. We’re really excited that we finally get to share our space themed tower rush game with our community and supporters.
- Get an Android mobile device — any medium spec phone post 2019 will be fine
- Go to beta.cosmicchamps.com and click “Download APK”
- Once downloaded, go to your file manager and click on downloaded file
- Select “open with package installer” if promoted
- If your settings don’t allow opening third party apps, select the option to go to settings, and Click “allow from this source”
- Click install — the screen will show install progress
- Once it says installed, click “Open”. If you lose the screen, just head to your home screen, and click on the “Cosmic Champs” icon
- The Sign Up page will load. Create an account with an email address (no spaces at the end) and a Password
- Or, if you’ve created an account, click “Sign In” and enter your login details
- To play, you’ll need to click “Connect Wallet” and connect the wallet that holds your beta pass. (Currently we only support Pera wallet)
- Once you connect your wallet, you’ll need to manually return to the app — e.g. close Pera and click back on your device
- If you click on “Deck” you’ll see the 8 season 1 Champs in your deck. If you click on them you’ll see their stats
- To play, click “Battle” The app will say waiting for opponent. If you want to find someone to play with, go to the #find-players channel of our Discord and invite your frens
- Once a battle starts, you have 3 minutes to destroy your opponents base to win
- To play, drag your Champs into the highlighted area in front of your opponents turret
Each Champ costs a specific amount of energy so be strategic about when and where you deploy your Champs. The energy available to you is displayed in the bar below your deck of playable Champs
Don’t forget to screen capture & record your games, and post on TikTok and Instagram to go in the running for cool prizes! We’ll announce a range of competitions on Friday once the beta launches.
Game Availability
The closed beta game will launch 7am UTC /9AM CET Friday 28th of October. We expect it to be up for around 24 hours.
The game will be unavailable for approximately 48 hours over the weekend, as our team upgrade functionality and fix any major bugs. We’ll let you know when it’s back up!
Bug reports
We’re launching our game early to the community, so that you can help us build it the way you like it! That means that not all functionality will be operational, and there will be some features that aren’t yet optimised. We want to make sure we nail the core game mechanics before we add extra functionality.
To report any bugs you experience in the game, please visit beta.cosmicchamps.com and select the bug report option.
Please don’t report the bugs in Discord. We’ll be offering rewards for the most helpful bug reports!

ABOUT COSMIC CHAMPS
