- The private round lasts 48 hours and is split into two 24-hour periods

- Second 24 hours: First come, first served period
- All season 1 NFT holders are guaranteed to be able to purchase the same number of NFTs as they own in the first 24-hour period
- All other wallets on the allow list are guaranteed one NFT in the first 24-hour period
- During the second 24-hour period anyone with shuffle tokens can buy NFTs on a first come, fist served basis until sold out
- Any remaining NFTs after the private round will be available to the general public in a public shuffle for $30 USD worth of COSG each

Welcome to the Cosmic Champs Season 2 NFT Shuffle!
As we blast off into the retro-future world of the Cosmic Champs metaverse, we invite you to join us on an adventure to collect the most coveted NFTs in the Algorand gaming galaxy. On Thursday, January 19th at 11 am UTC, the gates to the shuffle will open. There will be a private round that lasts for 48 hours that can only be accessed by those on an allow list followed by a public round. You can check if your wallet is on the allow list and how many NFTs you’re eligible to purchase here: https://beta.cosmicchamps.com/allowlist.
There are five ways to gain spots on the allow list for the private round of the shuffle (you can read all about it here). In brief, you can get access by:
- Owning season 1 NFTs
- Possessing a closed beta pass
- Holding COSG tokens
- Being in the top 50 on our Crew3 Quests leaderboard
- Winning one of our community giveaways
Some pathways for accessing the allow list (i.e., Crew leaderboard and giveaways) are still open so our allow list is still undergoing changes. It is worth checking your allocation again 48 hours before the shuffle begins. Don’t worry your allocation won’t decrease. If anything, you may receive more allow list spots when the list is finalised.
If you own NFTs from Season 1, you’re in luck. These provide special privileges for our season 2 NFT shuffle. Season 1 owners, on January 1 when the snapshot was taken, are guaranteed to be able to purchase the same number of Season 2 NFTs as they own from Season 1. For example, if you own 3 uncommon, 1 rare, 2 epic, and 1 legendary NFT from Season 1, you’ll be guaranteed to snag a total of 7 Season 2 NFTs in the private round of the shuffle. If you are on the allow list and don’t own any season 1 NFTs then you will be guaranteed 1 NFT in the private round of the shuffle. This rewards season 1 NFT holders and guarantees that everyone on the allow list will be able to purchase at least 1 NFT in the private round of the shuffle.
To participate in the private round of the shuffle you will need both COSG and a special token we will mint for the shuffle. The ASA for the shuffle token will be announced earlier in the week of the sale. If you are on the allow list, you will need to opt into this ASA so we can distribute the token before the shuffle begins. If you do not opt into the token then you will not be able to access the private round. We will distribute shuffle tokens for guaranteed allow list spots 1 hour before the private round begins. Shuffle tokens for all remaining non-guaranteed allow list spots will be distributed 24 hours into the private round. There will not be any other distributions of the shuffle token so you are responsible for ensuring your wallet has opted into the shuffle token before distribution. These tokens do not guarantee you will be able to purchase an NFT after the first 24 hours of the private round and hold no value after the private round ends. The private round will be split into two parts that each last 24 hours. An NFT can be obtained by exchanging a shuffle token and COSG. We will lock the amount of COSG required to purchase an NFT from the private round about 48 hours before the round begins. This will be determined using the market value of COSG at that time. During the first 24 hours, everyone on the allow list is guaranteed at least one NFT and season 1 holders are guaranteed more. During the second 24 hours, all other allow list passes can be used to purchase NFTs from the private shuffle on a first come, first served basis. For example, if you received 5 allow list passes in total (3 season 1 NFTs, 1 beta pass, and 1 COSG holder tier) then you would be guaranteed 3 NFTs in the first 24 hours of the private round and could purchase up to 2 more in the last 24 hours of the private round. Any guaranteed allow list passes not used in the first 24 hours can be used in the last 24 hours. If there are any NFTs left after the private shuffle, they’ll be available to the general public in a public shuffle for $30 USD worth of COSG each. Six new champions will be introduced in the shuffle: Jax, Cyclops, Hawk, Pix, BFF, and Shockwave. A total of 2010 NFTs will be available, with rarities ranging from Common to Legendary.

Meet the Champs
Welcome to Season 2 of our Champs! This season we have introduced six new characters for you to play as: Jax, Cyclops, Hawk, Pix, BFF, and Shockwave.
First up is Jax, a member of the Glory Heroes team. Jax is known for their lightning-fast bionic fists, which can catch opponents off guard and leave them in the dust.
Next is Cyclops, a member of the Heavy Industry team. Cyclops is a fearsome robot with four long-range guns that can attack multiple targets at once.
Hawk is another member of the Heavy Industry team. This robot was built for gladiatorial combat, and it can unleash bird bots to attack from the air while also wielding a sword to fend off close-range threats.
Pix is a member of the Glory Heroes team. Don’t let her small size deceive you — she is a formidable opponent who attacks from the sky with a sprinkle of pixie dust and a heavy fist.
BFF is a member of the Desert Brutes team. Despite its friendly-sounding name, this enormous creature is not to be trifled with. It can pound enemy bases into dust with ease.
Finally, we have Shockwave, a member of the Water World team. This sea creature has the ability to survive in the sky and attack with electric zaps that stun opponents.

What is COSG?
Our governance token, Cosmic Gold (COSG), rules the Cosmic Champs metaverse. COSG will be used to earn staking rewards, reward players for using the game (P2E), and buying NFTs. When we transition to a DAO, holders of COSG will steer the ship as they will vote on changes to the game. It will also be used to fuel our creator economy which will reward the community for helping build our metaverse.
The ASA ID for the COSG token is 1065092715. To receive COSG, you’ll need to opt into COSG with your Algorand wallet.
