Hi Ninjas!
Welcome to the Injective ecosystem news roundup, here are the top stories in Injective in the 1st half of May:

inEVM INTEGRATIONS & COLLABORATIONS: Arbitrum Orbit, Band Protocol oracles and AltLayer restaking security

INJECTIVE ECOSYSTEM UPDATES: Helix, Desig and more

New Injective dApps, tech updates, milestones, events and much more in this episode, and now for today’s top stories:

Tech

inEVM is the first ever Ethereum Virtual Machine with true composability across both Cosmos and Solana. Thanks to inEVM, Ethereum developers can now build applications leveraging Injective’s blazing fast speed and near zero costs, while achieving composability across the WASM and EVM ecosystems. For Ethereum developers, inEVM provides the following advantages: they can use the same Solidity language but can benefit from Injective’s speed, near zero costs, IBC connection, user base and global network. Also, dApps launched on the inEVM will compose directly with Cosmos and Solana applications. inEVM was developed in collaboration with several projects. Caldera is the rollup provider for inEVM. Hyperlane provides interoperability to interact with WASM-based injective dApps and assets. LayerZero provides horizontal composability for the creation of omnichain apps or OApps. Celestia serves as the data availability layer for inEVM and Pyth is the oracle provider for inEVM.
Injective announced a collaboration with Arbitrum and by customizsing Arbitrum’s unique Orbit stack, now Injective’s inEVM allows an even broader developer toolkit for inEVM users which previously was only available in the Ethereum L2 ecosystem. inEVM provides developer access to Ethereum while in parallel keeping the lightning fast speed and low fees on Injective. In particular, inEVM can leverage INJ as its native gas token and this is very innovative and previously unheard of in the L2 rollup ecosystem. In addition to this, inEVM transactions can also qualify for participation in Injective’s Burn Auction. In summary, with the integration of Arbitrum Orbit on inEVM any project can establish their own rollup and AnyTrust chains, and facilitates building secure, scalable and efficient layer 2 solutions and the integration of smart contracts across multiple blockchains.

Band Protocol announced the integration with Injective’s inEVM testnet. This integration will provide inEVM with secure and reliable data feeds and allow Band oracles to supply several data types very important for DeFi, derivatives and other dApps on inEVM. Band Protocol enables several use cases on inEVM.
Options trading, using oracles for accurate altcoin prices that are essential for valuing option contracts and platforms such as Thetanuts can be supported.
Bonding protocol which requires oracles for price data and it is critical for asset pegging and market value determination. Cross-chain trades, since they require reliable price feeds for exchange rates between different blockchains. Another use case enabled is prediction markets/derivatives, to enhance offerings in markets such as Relative finance since they rely on oracles for dependable cross-chain price data and external data feeds.

Helix news

Helix announced the spot market listing of SAGA and also the spot market listing of ezETH/WETH. ezETH is the liquid restaking token that represents a user’s restaked position at Renzo. The Renzo protocol is a liquid staking token and strategy manager for EigenLayer. This is the first listing of Renzo within the whole Cosmos ecosystem.

Ecosystem news

The .INJ domain facilitates transacting across Solana and Injective seamlessly. Several impressive milestones were achieved recently with over 13k unique holders, millions of on-chain transactions and over 19k registrations.

Injective announced the integration of Desig, a leading MPC Multi-Sig Wallet, to enhance security for asset management within the Injective ecosystem. This collaboration benefits especially institutional users on Injective since they require multi-party approvals for transactions due to their operational security protocols and rigorous compliance protocols and governance structures. Thanks to Desig, dApps within the injective ecosystem can seamlessly incorporate multi-signature features and there is additional protection against unauthorised access or security breaches.

AltLayer announced the collaboration with Injective. AltLayer MACH solution provides faster finality to rollups by allowing operators to restake Ethereum based assets. AltLayer is providing the first ever restaking security framework for on-chain inEVM applications. What this means is that with inEVM users can now leverage the security of both Injective and Ethereum, meaning over $400 billion of additional security to inEVM. AltLayer is bringing restaking based security to inEVM and thus benefiting dApps running via inEVM.

Community news

New discord roles were announced for the Injective discord server. To get the Ronin role ninjas need to be active on the Injective discord, help newcomers and participate in events. Then there is the Art sensei role and the Meme master role. For the meme master role ninjas need to create quality and funny memes and send them to the #memes channel in the Injective discord. Finally, to get the tweet master role, ninjas need to create quality content about injective and tweet the content.

Conclusion

And that is all for today’s Injective ecosystem bi-weekly review so if you enjoyed it Ninjas remember to click that like button, subscribe button and bell icon too. We are in the top 3 Injective relayers in the last month by total number of txs and one of the best by uptime and performance as well. Ninjas, consider supporting our Injective infrastructure and educational content with a delegation to our Injective validator. Thank you so much for watching and I’ll see you Ninjas very soon in the next episode!
