Cosmochain signs MOU with CoinJinja to accelerate ‘COSMEE’ expansion into Japan

First Korean dApp to expand to Japan

Beauty platform Cosmochain, which has drawn wide attention as Kakao’s first blockchain investment, initiated its expansion efforts into the Japanese market.

On 28th, Cosmochain, which operates beauty social media dApp ‘COSMEE’, signed MOU with CoinJinja, a Japanese cryptocurrency information service provider, in order to expand its service in Japan.

CoinJinja plans to feature COSMEE in its cryptocurrency information application ‘CoinView’, in order to expand Japanese user base for Cosmochain. Cosmochain will demonstrate COSMEE Japanese service through Coinview’s new feature ‘dApp browser’. DApp browser is a feature which allows direct access to various dApps within the CoinView platform. CoinJinja will be in charge of operation of COSMEE’s Japanese operation and marketing, along with the launch of the dApp browser service.

CoinView, which will be featuring COSMEE, is a mobile service platform for cryptocurrency. CoinView provides news, price information, trading support, payment service, asset management service, etc. CoinView secured 500,000 users upon launching, and has maintained no.1 as a cryptocurrency app in Japanese Google PlayStore and AppStore.

Yu Numazaki, Co-founder of CoinJinja, said “CoinView is synced with 38 Japanese and global exchanges, and has partnered with 60+ media”, and added that CoinJinja will “support COSMEE’s launching in Japan through these infrastructure”.

Cosmochain commented that they “will provide successful service in Japan as well, based on their verified service operation experience in Korea”, and that they are “currently reaching out to local cosmetics companies in order to secure active user influx upon launching”.

COSMEE launched in Korea this August, recorded accumulated downloads of 300,000 and accumulated contents of 70,000 during three months of its pilot service, which ended November. Main version of COSMEE will be launched first quarter of 2019.
