Many holders of our community have given a great attention and constructive feedback to Cosmochain’s first official service, “FitsMe.”
Today, we’d like to share our answers to some of the frequently asked questions that we have collected and organized.
I. About FitsMe Service
Q1. Do you have any plans to add more cosmetic categories to FitsMe service? What sets FitsMe apart from other services?
Jacob K — “Why don’t you update FitsMe categories…Well, just looking at the app, I don’t know what’s so great about FitsMe.
A1. There was only FIND function for just a single “Foundation” category when we conducted FitsMe’s Closed Beta Test (CBT). However, we have expanded to “Sunscreen” and “Cream” when launching the official app, and “Toner” category was newly added this week as well.
We will continue to expand the categories one by one. Those newly added categories will be determined by referring to the demand of the actual users submitted through the “User Feedback” section at the bottom of the service.
As shown in the graph below, the “Cushion” category will be added first, and for this, product database analysis and recommendation algorithm design work are in progress.
The area that Cosmochain wants to focus on in the planning and development phase is to build a more customer-centric ecosystem. Relative to other services, Cosmochain is paying particular attention to actual beauty consumers’ feedback and seek to reflect them on FitsMe service
FitsMe service was planned after having dozens of in-depth interviews with target users, and we still spend a lot of time reviewing the feedback received from the app service.
Q2. Is the plan to incorporate token models into FitsMe service going well as scheduled?
Samuel — “Well, are you going to keep your promise of releasing Token Model guidance by Q3 this time?
A2. As we shared through ‘COSMO This & That,’ we have completed designing the ‘FitsMe Marketing Project,’ which is an early step in the token model integration, and we are currently testing the token flow on the Klaytn Testnet.
As COSM token is delivered to actual service users with the implementation of this token model, we plan to move the COSM volume to the Cosmochain ecosystem, which is now mainly distributed through exchange.
We’ll be able to share more details by the third quarter as we promised.
Q3. How is the partnership with a cosmetics company going? Will there be any other partnership with cosmetics companies outside the FitsMe app?
Chilll — “What happened to partnership with major cosmetic Company?”
D. 24 — “How about the partnership with the global cosmetic brand? Also, will Cosmochain still work and develop partnerships outside the Fitsme app? Or the usage of their tokens and reward systems will be exclusive for the Fitsme app?”
A3. Since last December, we have established partnerships with 10 brands and are working together on cosmetics review data. Some brands have also completed marketing project contracts to implement the FitsMe token model.
However, because what Cosmochain essentially wants to accomplish through collaboration with beauty companies is to establish Cosmochain ecosystem, we will be able to share further details after the ecosystem gets stabilized to some extent through the application of token models.
In addition, in case of partnership announcement, we will deliver it to you through press releases, and there will be no any other announcement shared, beforehand.
II. FitsMe Accomplishments & Indicators
Q4. Why is the FitsMe ranking falling in the Google Play Store?
John Doe — “You should update your just released article with current rankings…”
(Shouldn’t you write a post based on the current ranking……)
Jacob K — “The content of today’s article and the current ranking are far apart…It’s hard to trust…”
A4. The ranking indicator of beauty app is always changing. In fact, even for large services within TOP5, the ranking varies significantly depending on marketing costs. This applies equally to all Application Sector.
In the case of FitsMe, we are not yet in the process of active marketing, but we are planning to launch a full-scale marketing campaign along with our internal goals.
The previous numbers Cosmochain shared were about the entry rank of FitsMe (6th as popular beauty app, and 1st and trending beauty app) in the fierce Korean beauty market, which has been less than a month.
We will try our best to advance more quickly in the future.
Q5. Generally, main customers of beauty products are women, but isn’t the majority of FitsMe users male? Is it really true that there is a new influx of users even after the initial launch?
George — “The actual cosmetics customers are female, but the FitsMe users are likely to be male.”
Jacob K — “I think the previous FitsMe rank was because of the number of holders who downloaded the app at the moment”
A5. Unlike many holder’s expectations and/or concerns, 95% of FitsMe users are women. Analysis of user traffic on FitsMe service shows that women in their 20s and 30s whom Cosmochain set as their target users during the planning phase are the primary users.
We have also maintained a steady increase of DAU (Daily Active Users) without any special marketing since launching. We believe that if we launch a full-scale marketing campaign in the future, we will definitely have more users.
