Cosmos Africa offline Event June 2020
It was a successful day as the cosmos Africa team organized and hosted thr second offline event , the event was well attended by mostly students of institutions of higher learning. this event was held on the 10 th of June 2020 at the park event centre Government reserved area Enugu state.
It was mainly an interactive event that was organized in adherence to the Cdc guidelines of covid-19 regarding number of persons allowed to be in an event. we had a total of 17 persons in attendance. outline of events include
- Introduction
- Cosmos blockchain discussion
- Comparison between cosmos consensus Algorithm and others
- Question and answer session
- Call for more volunteers
- Closing remarks.
During the course of the presentation the resource person and organizer explained how the cosmos blockchain works and the uniqueness, he further did a detailed comparison between different consensus algorithms used by other projects and how cosmos consensus has proven to be better .
During the feedback session some of the participants inquired if the cosmos team has provisions for grant to teams and individuals , the answers were provided and the organizer pointed him to the proper resource materials.
The event lasted for 4 hours and the organizer also encouraged the attendants to take part in activities that will help grow the cosmos community in Africa.
