EXPLORE COSMOS #1
It was a successful event as the cosmos Africa team is gradually spreading its tentacles and spreading awareness across Africa,The cosmos Africa team organised and held an event “ EXPLORE COSMOS” on the 20th day of august 2020 and was attended by students of Engineering at the S.E.A school kumasi Ghana.
it is also important to state that the event was held in accordance to cdc guidelines , we had a total of 32 Engineering students in attendance ,mainly an interactive and walk through session on what cosmos is and trying to accomplish. sequence of events is as follows
- opening remarks
- introduction of memberes
- presentation by the guest speaker Nana Yaw
- question and answer session
- idea discussion
- closing remarks
This event was organised by cosmos Africa team, during the presentation, the resource person Nana, gave a detailed work through on what the cosmos blockchain is and the approach it adopted in the blockchain space.
This event also gave us the opportunity to listen to the participants and collect feedback which will further assist in spreading cosmos around the Africa continent. the speaker took series of question from the student ranging from investment perspectives to tools that can be built on top of the cosmos blockchain. some of the participant who also attended the online Ama event on binance Nigeria telegram group also indicated and commended the team for the effort being made towards Africa. the speaker Nana also called for more volunteers and also stated that he also became a volunteer after he listened to chidi lisa who coordinated the event and represented Cosmos Africa. he also announced that the their will be a follow up event series coming upon the 28th of August and other dates that will be announced by the team.
