The cosmos Africa team hosted successfully the 4th edition of the series of events outlined
The event was a continuation of the events held earlier and the focus was on intereoperability,the event which was held on the 16 th of September 2020 saw a significant turn up of participants. the sequence of events is as follows

- closing remarks
during the presentation, the speaker nana explained the concept of interoperability in simple terms stating that the ability of different blockchains to communicate and exchange information and assets among themselves is a key factor to a successful application or project that will get mass adoption , he stated that cosmos has this ability( IBC protocol) hence many projects are utilizing the cosmos software development kit to build out solutions. he further emphasized that many large cooperation and organizations will all at some point in the future run their activities on the blockchain and will definitely need to be able to communicate with each other because they will not all be using the same blockchain projects, he said cosmos have been tested and trusted and is well positioned to carter for such needs as they arise .
The networking session allowed all participants to have a close interaction with each other and make friends, the event saw the 2 people joining as volunteers to help drive the cosmos Africa team toward attaining its objectives , the 2 volunteers will be bringing their experience in Business management, legal matters and content creation to the team.
During the closing remarks the speaker also hinted that the 5th edition of the Explore cosmos events will be held on the 24 th day of September , he encouraged everybody to compile every question they might have as the next event will be mostly interactive and will be based on questions and answers. He also hinted that the next series that will kick start soon will be purely based on Decentralized financing ( Defi).
